Woman Blows Three Times Legal Limit after Disturbance in Indian Bay

A 39-year-old woman was arrested at her home following reports of a disturbance in Indian Bay over the weekend.

RCMP in New-Wes-Valley responded to a report of a disturbance, but when they arrived, they learned that one of the people involved had already left the scene.

Police later found a vehicle matching the description of the one that left the scene at the woman’s home a short time later. RCMP say the woman showed signs of impairment and failed a breath test.

She was arrested for impaired driving and was taken to the detachment where she provided breath samples nearly three times the legal limit.

The accused was released to appear in court at a later date on charges of impaired driving. Her licence was suspended and her vehicle seized and impounded.
