Tech worth thousands of pounds was stolen from a Leicester home over the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, prompting a major police enquiry.
The expensive haul, which included a Sony Playstation 5 and jewellery, was snatched from the property on Severn Street in the Stoneygate area of Leicester on June 5 – the final day of the four-day Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.
The haul was worth more than £2,000 and also included a Macbook Pro and iPhone XR as well as a pair of trainers. As part of its appeal, Leicestershire Police confirmed that the goods were stolen roughly between 4pm and 6pm on June 5, with officers hoping anyone who was in the area saw what happened.
