A cyclist is lucky to be alive after a collision on Ellis Street in Kelowna on Thursday afternoon between a bicycle and a dump truck.
The collision happened near the intersection of Recreation Avenue.
“According to witnesses the bike rider did not stop at a stop sign,” said Const. Mike Della-Paolera for the Kelowna RCMP.
“The rider made their way to KGH on their own and doctors advised that he was very lucky to come out with only a minor injury to their elbow and some road rash.”
RCMP say no charges will be laid.
