CCTV released after 10-year-old girl sexually assaulted in London Boots Victoria Station

Police are appealing for information after a ten year old girl was sexually assaulted on Saturday (June 11) afternoon in Victoria Station. Detectives are urgently trying to identify a man in connection to the assault which took place at 2.50pm in Boots in Victoria Place Shopping Centre.

Extensive enquiries have been conducted throughout the weekend and it is believed that the man photographed (above) may have information which could help their investigation. Police are deeply concerned due to the young age of the victim and are asking that anyone with information to get in touch with them urgently.

Detective Constable Tony Gittins said: “This is a particularly disturbing incident given the very young age of the victim, and we are working tirelessly to identify the person responsible and bring them in to custody for questioning. I would like to appeal for the public’s help in identifying the man in the CCTV images, who we are confident will be able to assist with our investigation. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
